The MTV music awards are always a good time..."something" seems to happen every year whether it be someone climbing a stage prop and refusing to come down, making an unscheduled "dance" appearance ( remember the look on Bob Dillon's face when "soy bomb boy" started dancing around) or a bassist tossing their axe in the air, forgetting to catch it, opening a gash in their skull and knocking themselves un-concious for a few seconds.

The hosts are always a blast too (although I didnt like when the Wayans brothers hosted).

My favorite "host moment" was Chris Rock uttering out loud to the audience about some lipsyncing pop-stars - while they were still exiting the stage; "Why do they even bother to wear mic-ro-phones?"

was anyone else creeped out by that midget troll thing? i thought overall it was a good show, the ron burgundy interviews were my favourite parts though, and the computer animation for introducing the nominees was kind of cool.
