What writer/director do you admire?

I'm pretty fond of John Hughs... he has to be one of the best movie writers ever!

Well, I have an increasing admiration for Quentin Tarantino. Altho I usually don't watch movies that violent, I LOVED Pulp Fiction & "From dusk till dawn" & "Kill Bill", he really does a good job with this, but also apart from that I've seen him in a lot of interviews lately & the more I get to know about him & get to "know him" through interviews etc, the more I admire him.

I'm also a huge fan of Jerry Bruckheimer.... anything he puts out is good. However before I escalate to a word like "admire" I need to see more than just their movies, I like to base it on an overall picture & I don't know enough about him. I just really love everything he does :-)
