Extreme Ops 11/27
Synopsis: Known for providing their wealthy clients with whatever footage it takes to sell a product--even if it means kayaking over a 110-foot waterfall or dangling by a harness from a helicopter--advertising executive Jeffrey, director Ian and cameraman Will agree to make a seemingly impossible commercial for a new digital video camera. Their mission: to show three expert skiers outrunning an avalanche. Heading for the Austrian Alps with beautiful downhill gold medalist Chloe, wild-child snowboarder Kittie and 19-year-old overall daredevil Silo, the film crew sets up in an unfinished resort perched 12,000 feet atop a mountain in the Austrian Karawanken Range on the border of Yugoslavia. But they are not alone. Serbian war criminal Pavle, who recently faked his death in a plane crash, is hiding out with his exotic girlfriend Yana, his son Slavko and a gang of terrorists determined to complete their horrible mission--even if it means murdering anyone who gets in the way.

The premise is a little hokey, but it might be an interesting action film.
I definitely think it's going to ahve good action sequences, but I thik the movie itself is going to be appalling.
I've seen a few trailers for it and it looks like the acting is incredibly poor.
You'd think I would like an action movie like this one, but movies with Extreme Sports are just not my thing. Besides, the previews weren't that good. I'm passing on this one.
Well, Pete Sampras's wife is in it so that's enough to put me off.
One of the actors, Joe Absolom, used to be in a British soap called Eastenders. He played a good charactyer and I was sad when he was written out.
It is at least good to know he's still working.
I saw a commercial for this last night, and it looked really stupid...:rolleyes
Rufus Sewell was the bad guy, Count Adhemar, in A Knight's Tale.
Still don't think I'll see it though.
How odd that Miss F. would know an actor from A Knight's Tale. ;)
I've seen previews for this thing at the theater a couple times recently. Looks really stupid, but I bet it'll do great with the teen crowd - especially with all the skiers and boarders we have here in Colorado.
Rufus Sewell is quite a hottie.
I imagine this would be really appealing to teens and anyone who has an interest in snow sports as you say Wayner.
I think it would bore me rigid though.
Great effects are one thing but I do like a bit of a story to hold oit together.
