    Wow! I guess "waiting for the DVD" really impedes a person's ability to root for someone trying to score a Golden Globe. Although I intend to see most of those movies, the only one I've actually seen is Finding Nemo.

    Some big surprises...

    - William H. Macy only acting nominee for Seabiscuit (I thought Jeff Bridges and Toby McGuire were fantastic too!)

    - No acting noms for LOTR-RoTK, big disappointment

    - Cate Blanchett for Veronica Guerin. I'm very glad, I thought she was spectacular in that movie but it got such little notice I'm surprised to see it.

    - Bend It Like Beckham for best comedy. Yeah! I hope so, it's one of my favorite movies of all time!
