I can't wait! I have yet to get the extended edition of TTT too. Shame on me.

OK, I saw the movie and I loved it - Shelob was fantastic, the battle at the black gate was great, gollum still looked kind of silly (esp. when he was on Frodo in Mt. Doom), and the characters were absolutely wonderful.

One question, I can't tell if it was my theater or what...but when Gandalf and Pippin first arrived at Minas Tirith and met with Denathor (sp?), the quality of the sound and picture went to heck. The picture got really grainy and the sound (Gandalf in particular) sounded like an amatuer voice over. Did anyone else experience this?

Guess I'll just have to go see it again...

Yeah! And this time I'll cough up the $11 to go see it on the IMAX screen.

I'm happy to report that I saw ROTK again!
It was as exciting as the first time I saw it.

The extended editions are a must for LOTR fans. One good scene that made it to the extended edition of the Two Towers was the scene with Boromir, Faramir, and their father at Osgiliath. It was awesome, and that made me like Faramir even more.
