    Oh, dear. I think perhaps I am the only one to Not like this movie. I enjoyed the first half or so... but found it really started to drag on. I kept waiting for some kind of climatic moment and found the ending too predictable. Who'd a thought all the people from his stories would show up at his funeral? :rolleyes
    The other thing that bugged me about it was that I kept feeling like I'd seen aspects of the movie before. It kept reminding me of the Princess Bride as well of Forrest Gump, and even Fried Green Tomatoes...
    But I'm glad others were able to enjoy it, mayhap it was just my mood.

    Don't feel bad! There are lots of movies that I've seen that everyone else seemed to love & that I didn't like at all!

    Finally rented this, and LOVED it. So those of you who were waiting for the DVD, it's out now. Definitely give it a go, I thought it was great. Now I'll have to find the book. Who's the author?
