I really wanna see this, too. I'm so sick of seeing scary movies with girlfriends, though. Any nice guys in the North of Boston area wanna go see it with me?

The trailers look cool. But there are some movies with brilliant trailers that suck as a movie. Maybe I'll check it out.
I agree that the originals are usually better than the remakes. I heard the the original "Carrie" was much scarier than last year's remake of it.

I'm sorry...I simply cannot understand why anyone would want to watch something like this! The thought of Texas cannibals is just too creepy and deviant for my taste. (No pun intended.)

I saw the original many years ago and that scared the s--- out of me.

So I am going to take the plunge and go se the new one next week. I have not seen a real gory film in many years.

Just saw where Roger Ebert gave this movie an "F" along with the headline: Brutal 'Massacre' is indefensible.

As long as they cut down on the screaming i'll go see it. The original had way too much screaming for me. As for the sequel. That movie was super creepy and super funny. When the brother shows up at the radio station scraping at his metal plate with a coat hanger he keeps lightin with his lighter and then pointing to the exit sign. Classic.

It was SO good!!!

If you hear that it's really gory, it actually isn't that gory. There's blood and all but not nearly as much as in Freddy Vs. Jason or Cabin Fever. There were a bunch of scary parts that made me jump and gave me the chills. I loved how it ended too. I think everyone should go see it!
