    No sex?!?

I won't be watching that one.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

I finally saw this last night, and absolutely loved it. I would echo what MollyRose said -- it's sad and poignant and funny all at the same time. Don't go see it expecting broad comedy (or car chases, or sex). But I thought it was a beautiful portrayal of two people who feel lost and find one of those fleeting connections that you sometimes do find and, sadly, can't keep.

I was bored stiff from watching this movie. The acting was great, but the movie was not. I love Bill, but this movie was almost painful to watch. I'm glad that I only rented it.

It actually sounds funnier hearing the Japanese talking (because I understand Japanese) and how the translator just misses everything that has been discussed just saying "More intenshity" in that funny English

I saw this at the theater and didn't like it. If it were shorter maybe. It could have been my mood.

I'll see it again sometime on dvd.

    Loved Bill Murray.

just quick note. i LOVED this movie. it wasn't all like a Cliche or anything. i like the scenes they capture of the girl visiting temples and stuff, really good stuff.
