LMAO Wayner,

I'm actually looking forward to finding out if Eminem can get his freak on film. It's fascinating to me how music artists crave to be a movie buff and vice versa. And for the love of god, I can't stand to see J.Ho. anymore.

Wayner, you will never make the millions talking about your film in such a manner. Now get out and promote that movie the right way!

Just in from Yahoo, one of the Detroit men who appeared in this movie was shot on opening night, but is recovering.

He didn't have a speaking role in the movie, but was a rapper who appeared. He was in the parking lot of a movie theater, and tried to stop some guys from robbing some high schoolers.

Went to see this movie this afternoon.

It was pretty good.
I thought there would be more rapping in it.
The end "battle" is excellent.
I would watch the movie again just to hear that.

Ohh fluff, glad to hear you liked it. I'm going to see it tomorrow.

I agree, the soundtrack was the major appeal to me.

I agree with Fluff - I would have liked to hear him rap more - and the battle at the end was very fun.

Kylie, the music I've heard on the radio for the film is not prominent in the movie. The song that has "the music the moment you better never let it go" in it doesn't even come on until the closing credits.

WINNER BY A MILE

from tvguide.com:

WINNER BY A MILE: Well, Mariah Carey he wasn't. Buoyed by strong reviews, Eminem's semi-autobiographical movie debut 8 Mile grossed a staggering $54.5 million at the box office over the weekend — easily claiming the No. 1 spot. Ironically, the rapper-turned-thesp's biggest fans were women: More than 50 percent of the audience was made up of females. Slim Shady bumped last week's champ, The Santa Clause 2, into second place with $24.8 million. Rounding out the top five: The Ring (No. 3 with $16 million), I Spy (No. 4 with $9 million) and Jackass: The Movie (No. 5 with $7.2 million). In limited release, Todd Haynes's 1950s-era melodrama Far From Heaven (starring Julianne Moore) grossed $207,000 in just six theaters.

Well the brief fling Eminem had with Mariah was no suprise but now I hear hes shacking with or was with Geri Halliwell. Eminem is really playing the field here...
