Gigli - 08/01
Synopsis: Larry Gigli, a lowly hit man in Los Angeles, who is looking to finally score big, lands the perfect "job"--or so he thinks. He is assigned to kidnap Brian, the psychologically challenged younger brother of a powerful federal prosecutor, in order to save his mobster boss from incarceration. Holed-up in his one-bedroom apartment with his kidnap victim Brian, Gigli starts to realize that what he thought would be a routine assignment has become a daunting and unwieldy task. Ricki, a beautiful, independent-minded female gangster, is sent to assist Gigli with the kidnapping--as his boss doesn't have faith that Gigli can carry out the job on his own. But when his feelings for the elusive Ricki begin to grow, and he becomes genuinely concerned for the vulnerable Brian, tough guy Gigli begins to trade in his tough exterior, for a more human, sensitive one--and considering his profession, that could be quite a dangerous path to follow.

This movie'll be pure crap...
This may make me a bad person, but I don't care. I've taken an inordinate amount of pleasure from the fact that this movie has had HORRIBLE reviews. Ha. Take THAT, Bennifer.
is the bennifer related to the sasquatch or yeti?

There was a movie review segment on Canadian breakfast tv this morning. The reviewer spent so much time talking aobut how bad the movie was that she didn't have time to review anything else released today.
Her main issue was that the movie just didn't make sense. She said the ending was bizarre and Pacino and Walken's scenes seemed to have nothing to do with the rest of the movie.
Even from the previews, you can tell this movie is poop! I usually like JLo (not her acting) but she comes across as a very likeable person on screen (at least to me). BUT...in the previews for this movie, she seems to be so full of herself. Ben Affleck comes across as a goofball like always. Anyway, I don't think movies with star couples fare that well.
Bennifer! :laugh I like that.
On TV Joel Segal (sp?) said the American Pie movie was no good, but that it was better than Gigli. Ouch. Bennifer-:laugh
