| -"The Piano" (should've beat out "Schindler's List" at the Oscars) -"Shakespeare in Love" (Lovely...) -"Ed Wood" (That scene with Ed and Orson Welles in the bar ) -"Schindler's List" (What can I say - I love Liam Neeson )-"Amadeus" (Musically mediocre myself, I feel for Salieri) -"Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (Hell yeah!) -"Psycho"(No comment.) -"Apocalypse Now" (Ambitious. Brilliant.) -"Breakfast at Tiffany's" (Love Audrey Hepburn. )-"Atanarjuat" (Made by Inuit-Canadian director. Woot!) -"Bonnie and Clyde" (Thefirst serious Western film I ever saw.) -"The Last Emperor" (Historically inaccurate, but that last cricket scene...*sniff* Imagine - an Italian capturing the poignancy of Chinese history...) -"Farewell My Concubine" (Epic. Unparalleled in Chinese cinema.) There are better films out there, and foreign ones which I haven't even mentioned. These are the ones that first come to mind, however. |

| See Armageddon...just couldn't bring myself to see it. I don't knwo what it is about that movie...i have never seen it and i have no want to. Have you seen Ghosts of Mississippi? Very well done and very well worth it....Also don't forget the classics like To Sir With Love and Guess who's coming to dinner...those are just so life impacting especially for the times they are made in |
