    Cool Movie Soundtracks

I was just looking through my CD collection the other day and I noticed that I own, and happen to love, a lot of movie soundtracks.

Here's the short-list of what's in my collection:
    Boogie Nights, CDs 1 & 2
    Saturday Night Fever
    Reservoir Dogs
    Pulp Fiction
    200 Cigarettes
    Grosse Point Blank
    High Fidelity
    Go
    Magnolia
    Love Jones
    American Beauty
    Dead Presidents
    A Clockwork Orange
    The Hunger
    Henry & June
    Elizabeth
    The Piano
    Orlando
    Dracula
    Heathers
    The Debut

What soundtrack albums do you own and rock out to?

The only movie soundtracks I own are The Lost Boys and Last Action Hero. Second movie sucked, but the soundtrack rocks. The Lost Boys just has a hauntingly amazing soundtrack.

You can tell how old I am by the CD soundtracks I have. There aren't many because I haven't had a cd player for very long.

    Cabaret
    Sound of Music
    Rocky Horror Picture Show
    The Bodyguard
    Footloose
    A Knight's Tale

Wait! It's not that I'm old! That's called eclectic taste isn't it?

End of Days (movie eh, soundtrack kicks ass)
    Reality Bites
Moulin Rouge (I love the movie, sue me)
Vanilla Sky (Cameron Crowe does good soundtracks)
    Magnolia (love love Aimee Mann)
    Pump up the Volume
    True Romance
I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a star in somebody else's eyes... but why... why... why can't it be me?

Hmmm...I can't think of very many soundtracks that I actually own. I had all my CD's stolen about 8 years ago, and I haven't gotten around to replacing very many of them yet.

The only 4 I can think of are:
    Valley Girl
    Repo Man
    Streets of Fire
    Pulp Fiction

I don't have too many either:

    X-Files
    James Bond set
    Trainspotting
    Boyz n the Hood
    bonus game soundtrack: Grand Turismo
and Smokey and the Bandit on cassette

Um, forgive me my juvenile sense of humor, Eldee, but if you read your list out loud it sounds like "Cabaret Hair Pie". Now that's a movie I wanna see.

Besides all the great ones listed above:

Love, love, love, the Legally Blonde (first movie) soundtrack! It is sooo good! (rock, pop, r&b, it's got it all)

    Swingers
Father of the Bride (bought it for "The Way You Look Tonight")
    When Harry Met Sally
Last Action Hero (for head bangers)
    Lost Boys
    Singles
    What a Woman Wants

I don't have it, but I always wanted the soundtrack to Fools Rush In.
