Audiomaster - Lost in Translation is an excellent soundtrack, but then again I'm a Kevin Shields/My Bloody Valentine fan as well...so I'm biased.

forgot to add Requiem for a Dream (great soundtrack by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet)

Oh, I like so many of these. I didn't see "Almost Famous" anywhere, though. That one is pretty good.

I don't own a lot of soundtracks but my favorite one is the soundtrack to "A Mighty Wind". I think it's mostly because when it's played I can envision the different scenes that outfolded in the movie during the songs & pictures the hilarious characters....

Other favorite soundtracks include Bridget Jones' Diary, Grease & Dirty Dancing (the original).

John Williams Greatest Hits 1969-1999 is good too. It's not a complete movie soundtrack but it has songs from Superman-the main theme, Jaws-main theme and Star Wars-main theme. It also includes songs, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, ET, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, to name a few. And it also includes Bugler's Dream/Olympic Fanfare and Theme (which isn't a movie but how can you not like that song?)

And I like Batman The Orginial Motion Picutre Soundtrack by Danny Elfman
