Ahhh, but who else has Local Hero? - Mark Knopfler's a giant. As I quote Burt Lancaster's character "..back to the ol' countree, eh MacIntyre?"

Stealing Beauty (for the Portishead track alone--and the Liv Tyler cover--, it's worth it)

Leap of Faith (Yes, Leap of Faith--for "Change in My Life" alone, it's worth it)

Pulp Fiction (no explanation necessary)

Threesome (for "I'll Take You There")

Reality Bites (for the "My Sharona" cover, also Lisa Loeb and U2)

Deep Cover (I bought it because I liked the title track; now, hip-hop fans beg it off me to burn the album because the title track was--get ready--Snoop Doggy Dogg's first major single)

When Harry Met Sally (great Harry Connick, Jr. album; trite movie)

and...

Clerks. The snippets from the movie dialog make it all worthwhile, not to mention the ode to Chewbacca.

I think that the only Soundtracks that I have are Rent and Jesus Christ Superstar. Some other good ones that I don't own (yet) are:
Shrek
A Beautiful Mind
Romeo and Juliet
I can't think of anymore right now. I'm too tired!
