Probably my all-time favorite movie soundtrack is the first one from The Commitments. I can listen to that any time. I love their sound. I even had a friend who was visiting England buy me a CD of Niamh Kavanagh, who is the lead female singer in the songs where the scratchy-voiced guy isn't featured. And THAT is one of my favorite discs now, too.

I used to really like getting soundtrack albums, heck still have a couple on vinyl from my childhood (Skateboard the movie, Saturday Night Fever, Grease). Now I tend to hunt down the individual band's cd in most cases but I still have a couple...

The Lost Boys
The Crow
Threesome
Reality Bites
She's Having a Baby
and a very old tape that's before they actually released a soundtrack for Valley Girl (I'm guessing it was made by the guys at the used record store or something cause it has all the music from the movie and the label reads "the unofficial soundtrack for Valley Girl" with a photo copy of a picture from the movie on it)

Oh no John - that's a great soundtrack, Cry Little Sister is one of my favorite songs from the 80's.

I love the soundtracks to Jurassic Park, Waterworld, and Hook. Also several Disney film soundtracks.
