Have you heard the news that Emma Thompson has been cast as Professor Trelawney?

Now, I have always pictured her as a chubby, gypsy type myself. But with the wonders of costumes and makeup, who knows?

See, I've never thought of Trelawney as chubby. In fact, thin and wispy is more the way I've had her in my mind. Emma Thompson seems like a good choice, if she can act kooky enough.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

Has anyone looked at the trailer for this movie? It looks so good. Too bad we have to wait until June for it to be released.

Is anyone else bothered by Sirius in the trailer? I don't like the way he looks in The Daily Prophet--he looks goofy crazy. I'd always envisioned him with that dark, smoldering, deepset eyes look, not the stupid look . . .

ETA: I found a pic, what do you think?

Still bummed about the choice of Oldman for Sirius. After watching the trailer, I am NOT buying it.

I agree with you guys...Sirius needs to be more scary. Maybe the flyer just makes him look more...normal-looking?

I can't wait for this movie. I'm really gonna miss Richard Harris as Dumbledore though.

But at least it's still got Alan Rickman in it. *swoons*
