| I saw Trilogy of Terror too! I hated that little Zulu doll (I saw it because I later found out someone I met was IN that film, he was one of the detectives killed by the doll). Norreen, are you thinking of Cat's eye? I thought that was a stephen king flick. I have no nerves for horror films, I had nightmares big time after Theif of time! Also Night of the Living dead, the Shining (red rum, redrum!), Invasion of the body snatchers and pet cemetary. Yet, I still watch. I don't think se7en should have been on the list, it sucked big time.

| OK, I know it was a cheesy movie but I remember seeing "Christine" (Stephen King book about a possessed car) and it scared the absolute sh*t out of me...same for "Cujo"....there was plenty of factor to them but they still freaked me out!I agree with Salems Lot and Exorcist tho. Whenever I go swimming or snorkeling in the ocean, I still hear the Jaws music playing in my head! that movie! I refuse to watch any recent scary movies....there's too many psycho people out there who actually would do some of the stuff in the movies and I don't want to watch them.

| I have seen all 13 movies on the list and the only one that scared me as a kid was the Exorcist which made it difficult for me to sleep for a few months afterward. Even now as a grown man I still find it really creepy. The others on the list are good movies but none of them really scared me and several of them I saw as a kid by myself some of those times. Just not scary to me but that's just me. A couple of movies that did scare me as a kid were the movie Ghost Story with Fred Astaire and Doug Fairbanks, and The Entity with Barbara Hershey. I believe both came out the same year because I remember sneaking into see both at the movies with my first "girlfriend". |

| I have seen all the films but I actually think that Se7en isn't really a horror movie but more of a crime drama. I think Scream should be in the list.It really changed horror films. I saw Burnt Offerings when I was 7 and that scared the heck out of me!

| IMDb has a Top 50 horror list and a Bottom 10 list. These lists are based on the average rating a film gets from public voters. I like the top 50 list because it's more inclusive. Older and lesser known films make the cut. |

| My favorite Horror movie is definitely The Shining, but I also like the Exorcist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre a lot (the original version). Jamie Lee Curtis and Halloween I are overrated (I actually enjoyed Halloween IV the most in the series..perhaps because it is the first in the series that I saw). Se7en was a very good movie but not a horror movie at all. I always considered Scream a comedy The original Vampire Hunter D was sweet, but once again that is not a horror movie. I would also put the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers on this list. What about the movie "Wacko"? As a kid I loved that movie (Believe it was more of a slapstick 80s comedy making fun of horror movies). |
