| Hmmm, oddly enough I'd never heard of Pi until today - is it based on a book? Now I feel like I have to see it, if only because I'm somewhat of a math geek. hazy - Freddy got Fingered was on HBO last night. I managed to heed your advice and stay away from it (at least I think it was yours). |

| I can't believe I've actually seen half of these (the movie Leon was The Professional in the US). One on there that a lot of people may not have seen and that I highly recommend is "The Apartment" with Jack Lemmon and Shirley McLaine. I could watch Godfather I & II, Goodfellas and any of the Hitchcocks over and over. On the other hand the Lord of the Rings and The Matrix don't really do it for me. Most of the ones I've seen though were very good.

| Hmmm. I've seen 17 of the best, 17 of the worst. Where was Gone With The Wind? I'm surprised it wasn't on there. *scrolling back up to check again* Nope, not on there. | |

| While I liked Gone with the Wind....it's only ok as a movie. Amazed at how many of these I have seen. 18 Pulp Fiction (1994) 8.5/10 (84045 votes) ...finished way too high, I think there are many better movies on the list further down. 32 Apocalypse Now (1979) 8.4/10 (41956 votes) ...Same with this one, the movie is just sort of a jumbled mess, I've never liked it. 71 Clockwork Orange, A (1971) 8.2/10 (42971 votes) oh god, I've always hated this movie, seen it twice and hated it both times, I have no clue why people think it's such a masterpiece. What? No Caddyshack? That one is a classic

| I've only seen nearly a quarter of these...23 to be exact and was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of my favorites on the list. My personal best of the list that I've seen more times I probably should have and still watch whenever I see them on: Seven, Monty Python's Holy Grail, Princess Bride, Shawshank Redemption, Amadeus, Braveheart, Full Metal Jacket. | |
