I Can't Believe You've Never Seen That!

Are there any movies that everyone in the entire universe has seen except for you?

Do you feel alienated when your friends drop references and make jokes in conversation that you don't understand ("Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die--what, you've never seen The Princess Bride ?")? No, I haven't seen the bloody The Princess Bride!

I never saw E.T. either, because it came out when I was really little and the little alien face scared the poop outta me.

I never saw Jaws because, heck I don't know why, I just haven't.

Any major cinematic pop cultural events that you missed out on that people are always shocked about?

Well... I've seen ET and Jaws so I'm afraid we won't be not seeing those together. But I guess technically we could if I don't see them ever again and you keep the status quo... hmmmmmm...

Anyway, I am somewhat, but not really, ashamed to admit that I haven't seen the following either:

Casablanca & Gone With the Wind

Am I a bad, bad man?

Surely not Malena, and surely not Tears of the Sun, even though I really regret that one. + Hopefully not Irreversible, as I thought it was brilliant.

And up until recently..Pulp Fiction...but I did finally see it & I loved it.

Uh, go out and rent The Princess Bride RIGHT NOW! It's one of my all-time favorites.

I've never seen: Schindler's List, any movie with John Wayne, any of the Alien series, and several more you'd think I'd have seen.

Actually, I haven't seen The Godfather Part Two and Three (I just watched Part One a month ago) and if it's a classic movie before the 70's I probably haven't seen it either.
