Of course it's predictable Wayner, it is HISTORY.

But yes, I agree. I don't care, I love schmaltzy crap like that.

So there!

I am proud to say that I've never seen "Titanic," "Chicago" or "Freddie Got Fingered" on general principle.

But what about Titanic and Chicago?

*feeling a bit dirty*

I just went for the cheap laugh, Paulie, and compromised my integrity in the bargain.

All I can say to all of you is:

I CANT BELIEVE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THOSE MOVIES!! lol (except for Chicago and Freddie Got Fingered--I havent, and probably wont, seen those)

John, if you like action movies, then you should definetly see Alien and Aliens. Especially Aliens. It is one of THE best action movies ever made!!

ET is a classic! Rent it SFG(?)....It'll make you laugh and cry all at the same time.

AJG--How can you live in Chicago and not have seen "The Blues Brothers"? Another GREAT rental. Dont watch it on TBS or TNT or whatever...rent it so it is uninterrupted and all the cursing is intact. It is one of the funniest movies ever!

Who had "Third page, fifth post" in the pool for how long it would take for someone to say "I can't believe..."? Anyone? Anyone?
Excellent recommendations Dobolina. I'd also add that you should never watch "Blazing Saddles" on TBS or TNT, either.

The edited Die Hard 2 is a crackup, too. "Yippi-ki-yay, (new non-Bruce Willis voice) Mr. Faaaaal-con."

Well, Bliss...

The Princess Bride is about a princess who falls in love with a stable boy, but tragically, she recieves word that the stable boy is killed by pirates. She then sets out to marry another man, Prince Humperdinck.

The princess is captured by 3 robbers who are absolutely hilarious, and later rescued by a mysterious man in black...and the plot goes crazy from there.

Perhaps you need an eccentric sense of humor to enjoy it, but I think it's a delightful film and would recommend it to everyone! It has some of the funniest visuals and quotes you'll ever see or hear...I laugh out loud everytime I watch it!
