Interesting prequel to Peter Pan, citing his origins as well as those of Captain Hook and Smee. It was fun, both an adult and kids film. Hugh Jackman must of had a blast playing the bad guy and maybe folks just don't want to see him that way. He played a bad guy in Chappie that was released the same year, maybe he is trying to distance himself from the Wolverine character he is well known for and I don't blame him for not wanting to be typecast. Levi Miller does a good job as Peter Pan. Interesting look at James Hook before he became Pan's dread enemy the pirate Captain Hook. The flying pirate ships were a lot of fun.
