The film version of "The Producers".

It was rated one of the top 10 movies of all time. My wife and I watched it and neither one of us even chuckled during the entire movie. I dont even recall cracking a smile.

    Rubbish.

Also most Meryl Streep movies are overrated and often very boring. Something about her name being on the marquee garauntees a film a free pass for 4 stars from most critics.

    The Godfather (gasp!)
2001: A Space Odyssey (and I love SciFi)
    Chicago (that won an Oscar?)
Eyes Wide Shut (a great comedy! oops)

    Great thread!

That was such a stupid movie. I only watched it until the end to try and find something worth while about it. It was such a disappointment. The acting was bad and it was just a silly movie. What a waste of my time.

My hubby's boss came in one day and excitedly announced that "Glitter" was premiering that night. No one could tell if he was kidding, and it seems he wasn't.

MasterofP - are you sure you loved Water World? the one that opens with Kevin Costner peeing in a cup to recycle water? If it has to be filtered & cleaned anyway, why not use seawater? :rolleyes

    Hmmm, I'll give you that.

I said this earlier on this thread, but I thought Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon was overrated - but probably because I had to hear everyone gushing about it for months before I saw it. The fighting was cool at first but then it just started to look....funny. Clumsy. Like they were on wires.
