Jon held up a journal that had the number 11 on it when telling players about the journals.

Just before the players took their quiz, several religious shots were shown....Virgin Mary statue, crucifiction painting,etc. Ali said a prayer before going over the falls. Victoria is from Bishop (that one's a stretch)

A bible was one of the correct items in the game.

Alex is one of the players on my radar, in part because of the Alexander reference as was also stated above, also because he missed the money bag by a mile, plus he didn't particularly call attention to himself throughout the first show. I'll be keeping an eye on him.

I thought Bobby was trying way too hard to look like the mole, as was Nicole.

Before the season started I do believe the press release said that the series would be made easier for viewers to play along. Mr. Stone said that the quiz questions would be much shorter than in the past.

So far I have Alex, Victoria and maybe Ali on my persons of interest list.

Okay, I told myself I wasn't going to get involved in The Mole beyond, like, Tuesday, because otherwise I'm going to go crazy, but here's what I have figured out:

It's been mentioned that Jon held up Journal #11. I was also told by someone on another message board that the site has been "giving out" official clues, including one saying E_E_E_ (which very well may be spelling out "eleven). With that in mind, we can look at Kristen (K is the eleventh letter of the alphabet), Paul (the 11th when arranged alphabetically), and Craig (the 11th player introduced in the opening).

It might be interesting to sort of follow all these clue threads and see where they intersect...

I thought there was a clue with the pigs, but it's probably nothing. Is anyone on the show a pig in the Chinese zodiac?

Something caught my eye on tonight's episode. In the back of my mind I guess the E_E_E_ clue was still lurking.

On the 2 quiz' so far...the question "who is the mole?" Craig's name is at choice E (alphabetically), next weeks quiz he will also be the 'E' choice...because Liz was below him, if they continue to go alphabetically.
If, next week a player is executed who falls above him in the alphabet ie; Alex,Ali.Bobby or Clay..then he will no longer be the 'E' choice, so the E_E_E_
clue would fit.
The "who is the mole" is also question #10.

There are alot of clues that point to Craig as the Mole, (11th player introduced,etc) so many that I have to move him to the top of my list!
Craig, Alex, Victoria

Craig wore a black suit,black shirt and a red tie to the dinner and execution...LOL!

Bobby O. is allegedly 25. One year of the Pig is this one: 13 February 1983 - 1 February 1984 = "the year of the Water Pig".

2008 - 25 = 1983.

If The Mole 5 was shot during 2008 instead of 2007, and Bobby was not born in January, I think this works out.

Of course, to track down Bobby's exact birthdate, we'd have to have his last name, and I don't think it's actually "O".

Maybe I'm reading too far into things, but I noticed the blanket in the pig game was red, green, and white (Christmas colors.) Could this relate to the religious clues in any way?

Well I have never watched this show til this season...but my first gut instinct I guess you will call it says the mole is Craig....I don't know how to look for clues in this game yet...lol..can't wait to see it play out

If it's Craig (and the Alexander SelCraig reference leads one to think he might be), then he was extremely unmolish when Alex couldn't slingshot a pig to save their lives and Craig came in and fixed things. If he WAS the mole, then they'd have made nothing if he just sat back and did nothing. He essentially put a big chunk of money in the pot by himself.

OTOH - sometimes the producers tell the Mole which ones to sabotage and maybe he wasn't supposed to sabotage this one.

I still think the Mole is pretty quiet in the early episodes. Why would s/he have to do anything when people like Bobby were keeping money out of the pot for them?
