Some woman's making raw mushrooms with a brownie. Some other woman makes mac and cheese with breastmilk.
Gordon tells someone that she has the worst starting dish ever, to which she replies "Thank you".
Them and a few others are rejected.

She's making something which looked like involved cactus? I missed this.
Gordon and Joe are concerned that she's too nice for the competition and that she'll get chewed up. Well, give her the chance, I say. Commercial.

Yes, cactus without the stingy thorns. LOL with peppers, garlic, pear, and chilies.

She's through. I figured. Good.
A few others go through.
George is next, who's cooking some Greek wedding soup. He's been carrying around a wedding ring in his pocket for a few months.
He used butter in his soup, which Joe disapproves. Joe votes no. Graham votes yes.
Gordon asks George to bring his girlfriend in. Joe think it's a waste of time.
Gordon votes no, but tells George to "man up" and propose to his girlfriend. Calls it a bigger prize. He does and she says yes. Judges applaud.
Gordon tells him to not make that soup at the wedding

Single mom Krissi is next.
Her son, who encouraged her to do this, has come to surprise her and cheer her on.
She's making meatloaf florentine with parmesan, onion, butter, garlic.
Graham likes the appearance.
Gordon tells her to bring her son in. He also wants to be a chef.
Gordon votes yes. As do the others. She's through.

But another begins yayayay.

First up is Bime. (like Beamy)
He's Puerto Rican with three(?) kids.
He explains his name pronounciation as "The next MasterChef will Bime."
He's making mofongo de camarones.
He's confident too obviously.
Now he starts crying and says he wants to make his family proud. Joe tells him he can't cry all the time if he wants to make it far.
Graham voted yes, Joe votes no, Gordon votes yes. Bime's through.
He's the first guy I remember Joe criticizing for crying.

Jessie's next, who's cooking seabass en croute.
She's a yacht stewardess.
Gordon walks out and comes back with two whole fish. I missed why, I guess he wants to see if she's the "real deal"?
The quality of what I'm watching is kind of bad, by the way. It's laggy and I'm missing some of what's going on. But I still have basics.

GR's showing her how to fillet the fish.
Jessie's now making her fillets on the other fish. Judges seem impressed.
I missed the exact judge votes, but she's through. Joe probably voted no while the others voted yes. That's how I saw it.

Now we have a fire dancer, a magician, a robot, a farmer, a metalhead, and some butternut squash artist.
Magician's through, not sure about the others. Looks like robot and farmer got the axe.
