I'm done with HK - it's too boring and predictable. I hate hearing the self-aggrandizing contestant's grovel for their positions at the end.

I had Beef Wellington exactly 1 time in my life - on a Carnival Cruise circa mid-90s. It was delicious! The meat was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife.

I hope they do the onion challenge - that's one of my favorite parts.
That was very cool! I liked that.I also love beef Wellington. Hmm so good( just not the way I made it)

    Either:

    1. Too obsessed with themselves on TV and thinking they're all that but in reality that mentally causes them to mess up.

    or.

    2. There's no way most of these people are whom they claim to be. I think Julia during Rock's season (3), was whom she said she was.

Wasn't Ji-Hyun Cha from season 5 as well? I mean, she left due to injury, but before that, wasn't she a front runner?

Well all I know, for me, is most of the rejected chefs on MasterChef can out cook most of the HK chefs! Maybe Gordon should look into hiring them instead?

I think they would have mentioned that.

I thought you were talking about a contestant this season who left early on season 5. Who is this person, then? Or you are saying that she was on HK?

I was saying she was on HK. It was a reference to Julia, who I believe was in Hell's Kitchen as well.

I think RAMSEY would, but FOX probably wants the incompetent chefs there.

In fact, I kinda find it funny there are really only two winners who have had long term success outside the show - Rock and Christina. Heather does OK, and the rest I haven't heard of in a long time save a little on Dave.

I'm watching the first season now, and I gotta say I really like this show. The format and challenges and everything, better than Hell's Kitchen.
