Silenced by the Lambs - Cooks take part in a skills test that requires them to prepare racks of lamb with fine artistry. Those who fail to impress the judges face an elimination challenge that includes recreating Gordon Ramsay's signature lamb-chop dish.

I think my favorite is Jason. He has such a sunshine personality and is just so excited by every challenge. I also love hearing Jennifer's accent.

Sam just had to go. Has anyone had Gordon's food? That seemed like a lot of strong ingredients for lamb, or at least American lamb where it is less gamey.

All I know is seeing all that lamb made me decide I am going to have that for dinner this weekend. And I'm not a huge lamb person!

Are they doing a kinder, gentler MC this season? Seems like GR is nowhere near as hells-kitchenish as he has been and the fellow contestants remind me of British Baking....they are so supportive. Amazingly different from the past seasons.

From what I have been seeing (and I haven't watched every episode) it does seem rather subdued. Maybe this could be a trend on more shows?
