My guess for this episode is that the producers may have suggested the ladies get in a mud fight while "gardening" but the actual words and actions are true reactions.

I remember last year someone said that the one girl who had guys taking shots off her belly, was "prompted" to do so by the producer.
I am sure that "suggestions" are thrown out there, but on the whole it's a bunch of people wanting face time on TV.

I too believe some are fakes because some people I have seen on these show are porn stars. I saw some on these shows Blind Date, Sex Wars, Strip Poker, Lover or Loser, and Elimidate. Hollywood are too lazy to find real people.

It's reasonable to conclude these shows are "Reality Stretched" TV. For instance, one of the winners on an earlier MMF said in an interview that her friend had been presented three scenarios to choose from to "reveal" about the contestant to the folks and that she had not heard of these stories prior to being handed the scripts to read over. Still, she was told, is she didn't choose one, her friend was in danger of being kicked off the show. So, she chose the least offensive and read it into the camera. Article here.

In addition, we've often seen the talent pool on these shows on "the circuit." Tawny is a great example. You can get her stats here and see a rundown of all the work she's been doing here . There's even a picture of her friend who revealed her nude bartending video posing with her.

It's fairly easy to see what is happening. America's appetite for watching scantily clad youth is huge and there are thousands of young women and men who think they will be the next hot thing ready to line up. Production costs for Reality TV shows are cheap and participants are scared of disobeying producers suggestions to "steam it up" so they do what they are told, even if it involves stuff they would not do in private, let alone on national television.

I don't think these shows are fake. But they aren't my reality. Still, I'm watching.

This kind of show, the contestants will be forgotten fairly quickly. They're not on for a whole season, like others shows.

If you're going to be on a show, and be potentially embarassed, this is the kind to get on.

ITA 100%, John...This is probably why I would never, ever audition for a reality show. Not that I'm shy or anything, but I think I've got toooo much common sense to want a camera in my face and internet people delving into my private life 24/7!! *ROTFLMAO*

But...I still enjoy watching the shows and discussing episodes, when I can. *LOL*

    Happy Posting!
