Rachel picks to see Mike's check and sees that it is worth $250,000.

I would only be shocked if she sent home Josh. How many guys does she send home?

Her speech to the guys as a group surprisingly didn't suck. She had the brains to mention that she felt an obligation because they chose her.

Also, from her moment of doubt speech with Morgan she understands the need to have some decent tension in the process.

Her speech to Rudy was good too. I can't believe I'm actually liking her handling of this.

...and Rachel chooses Mike's check. Not really surprised. She'll probably think he's in it for the money. And he's not. So he freaks. Bigtime.

    And we're onto eliminations...

Morgan is first up. And he is definitely safe. Oh, it was close, but Morgan previaled over... something.

Next is Rud-ee. And he is a goner. At least Rachel has better speeches than Preston. A lot better, actually.

And Chris and David (I think thats his name) stay. The next guy is a goner.

And the next guy is Alex.

Let's see if I was right...

    Damn you, commercial breaks.

She actually personalizes her speeches and gives real reasons? Wow, you can't completely hate someone who does that.

Of course she's also able to lie equally convincingly and with seeming sincerity (Alex). I think she's actually pretty dangerous, even if her vocabulary is crappy on occasion.

EDIT - Whoa. She ditched the guy. She just lied to be nice. Imagine that.

Rachel's speeches are good because she's not afraid to tell it like it is. Preston tried to wimp out of everything by giving the girls flimsy excuses.

I am shocked, Josh is going home! I guess that one-on-one date didn't pay off.
