    FLOM2 Extended for Two Weeks

This may deserve it's own thread.

For Love or Money2 has extended the series for an additional two weeks. Originally set up as a six week show, it now runs for eight.

NBC has not yet issued a press release to this effect, but the show is now billed as being 8 weeks long, and the contestant tracker worksheets have been completely re-formatted.

    To clarify -

    Five men remain.
Next week one eliminates himself, leaving four.
Week five is ... well, to borrow from TAR, a non-elimination round
One is eliminated each week afterward until episode 8.

Not quite a new announcement. It was always set up as an 8-week run. It's the same amount of airtime as FLOM1... they just did away with the interminable 2-hour very special episodes.

That's why some very charming men got cheated out of their rightful two-hours of TV infamy by getting cut in week 1

Well, as an insider, Brock, you may have known that .. but NBC's media site had listed the show as 6 episodes until just this morning.

And the contestant chart was revised as well.

FLOM was a six week season. With a 2-hour finale, as I remember.

FLOM1 had a two-hour premiere, and a two-hour finale (plus 10 extra minutes per week)

FLOM2 was listing in TV Guide and the VCRPlus guides as an 8 week run back in June... I think the NBC media guide must have missed that detail.

    August 11th episode

I tought that one of the four remaning guys would be eliminated on August 11th, and that Rob would take the place. So it would still be four men. It fits in the weekly tracker.

Am I wrong? Because if nobody's eliminated, there will be 5 men...

I believe that's right Danagabrielle ... apparently Rob joins the contestant pool. One man will be eliminated in the Aug 11 show. Leaving three, plus rob ...
