They were there because a casting agent told them they would be a good fit for a show where they'd compete with 14 other guys to see who could win the heart of "the woman of their dreams".

From what I heard, I was the only one there with any kind of showbiz stuff in my past.

Sean - Brother, I hate to do this, but I have to Call Bull S*** on you. I choose not to make to many comments publicly about the show except to set the record straight when people get off base, and I expect those who weren’t on the show to be off base, but I certainly don't expect that from people who WERE there. You might want to think about why you fabricate and try to be a bit more honest with yourself. All the guys on the show realize that it's important to you to stay in the limelight, but please if you need the attention try to stop lying for the sake of self promotion. Wow, Richard, those are harsh words. What exactly did Sean say that you take exception to? Are you saying that some of the guys WERE there to make a name for themselves in entertainment? That they WERE NOT there for the reasons that the casting agent told them they were there? That no one else had any kind of showbiz stuff in their past? Frankly, it doesn't sound like he's saying anything very inflammatory whatsoever. But what do I know? I wasn't there.

YesThey'reRereal: My intention for the statement was for Sean to realize that the guys from the show are reading everything that he's saying, and when it comes time for him to have to hang out with us at our reunion, he might want to take that into consideration. I think Sean knows that he has an affinity towards embellishment, and my intention was to call him out and let him know that we're watching, but not to get into a public debate over any one issue in particular.

Oh, I thought you were pointing out one particular issue because you quoted directly from one of his posts. Okay, well you've met him and I haven't, so you have a better basis for argument than I do. However, I will say that he has seemed quite genuine and loyal to all of the guys he met on the show, and I recall him saying quite a few nice things about many of them. For example, he stuck up for the porn king and defended his honor quite vehemently, and I also seem to recall him describing Chad in very flattering terms. I can't imagine what he's said that strikes you as being exaggerated, but then again, I don't have time to go through all of his old posts trying to figure it out. Maybe you could be more specific? Or perhaps it would be best to just drop it.

    Real --

Richard is in a difficult position here, having been a contestant on the show. At the same time, I think he is trying to make a valid point without overstepping the legal contstraints i am supposing NBC has him under.

I see very clearly what Richard is trying to say. For brevity's sake, I suppose the comment that none of the men on the show were there to make a name for themselves in entertainment was laughable and outrageous on Sean's part.

Let's not put Richard on the spot here.

And while we're at it, maybe we could move this discussion into another thread - I'm getting really tired of seeing "Bachelor Poses Nude" at the top of the forum listing ... ?

I apologize. I must be thick as a brick because I still don't quite get it, but that's okay, it's not important for me to understand. Point well taken, I truly do apologize, especially to Richard. I really, truly did not mean to put him on the spot, I was just seeking clarification.

[Richard, I am staring deeply into those gorgeous blue eyes of yours and beseeching you to forgive me. Will you accept this rose? Oooops, I mean can you ever forgive me?]

    No apologies necessary, Real.

And I confess. I'm smitten with those blue eyes myself.

Are you trying to tell me that people who confer with talent agents are actually interested in show business?

Ummm...why not? He chose this forum to challenge Sean. If his sole motivation is to give Sean the message that everyone is reading his posts and he will have to face the music in Vegas, then why didn't he contact him directly?

Richard is obviously trying to make a public point here and I don't see why his statements should go unquestioned just because he is a contestant on the show. You can't expect everyone who just happens to be browsing these boards to read between the lines. Via Brock, Sean has been playing both sides of the fence so well that some people still don't recognize that he is one and the same person. What is obvious to some is going to appear pretty odd to others who have not been reading the posts since the airing of FLOM1.

You dont know whether the people posting on this board are actually the contestants on the show. They might be people just playing with you; after all, why would a contestant on one of these shows run to check this board. Think about it...

Then again, maybe they are that self -centered. God help them if they read AOL boards as those people tear apart reality show contestants.

Guys should have gone on BOY MEETS BOY and they could have at least stood a chance to pick up 25 grand
