The guys I know who went on the show did it for the fun of it. That's all. No one wanted to become a movie star, and no one wanted to get rich quick. We were there just to have a good story to tell afterwards, and enjoy a brief, ridiculous moment in the most frivolous of spotlights. If you have an axe to grind against folks for going on these shows, don't watch.

But you're wrong to start rumors without any basis in fact.

EXACTLY how many guys do you know who went on the show? does this imply that some of the guys on the show know each other? seems very strange casting if they are competing against each other?

I was only there for a few days (I was one of the first ones cut), but I did get to meet, talk to, and hang out with all the guys, and from what I saw and learned, no one there was on the show to make a name for themselves in entertainment. They were there because a casting agent told them they would be a good fit for a show where they'd compete with 14 other guys to see who could win the heart of "the woman of their dreams".

From what I heard, I was the only one there with any kind of showbiz stuff in my past.

Well, that's what I thought at first, Mimi - but I think what throws it off is the FLOM promo shot his tan is much deeper, and he is smiling a big white smile ...

i have the porn video and i'm convinced that "jake" is "chris". all his expressions and personality are consistent with the guy on the show. i recognized him the second the show started.

i'd be shocked and apologetic if i am wrong... but also if you sign up for a national tv show, expect some gossip... spurious or otherwise.

i'm also interested in how these reality shows are cast... that joe millionaire show had a girl who did fetish sex videos, and brian, the last Survior winner was a soft porn cable actor... many coincidences
