I hope Getta Rhoom was one of the top three. He got undeservedly bashed for it.

I'm a little disappointed they are making this like American Idol. The long drawn out suspense is tiring and extremely lame. I don't know what happened between last week and the 2 shows this week, but it feels like a different show. I'm not liking it as much.

It is Idolish but there seems no way to do otherwise in these types of shows.

There's less filler than Idol. At least for now.

How the hell did cab guy and lightbulb get through?

And this is why it's a bad idea to let America vote.

They should do it like Rock Star, let the people pick the bottom 3-5 and then let the judges decide.

They kept those 2 so they can fight. I'm sure we need to be reminded about who did and didn't go to film school each week.

Boy, I didn't want to see another woman director go, but her short was sooo
uninspired and not very visually interesting. It took place in one room, no variety in shots and no real story. Having a bunch of actors in costume milling about in a room does not a short make! Especially when you see what the other contestants were able to create.

Carolina, Claudia, and Phil were the boots. Zach, Will, and Jason were the top three.

....If I were to go by the posts on this board I'd say this show is NOT having a good start....yikes!
