Why do you think you are a better lawyer than the other associates?
I am a better lawyer than the other associates because I possess qualities that cannot be taught or acquired. My passion and innate ability to connect with people on various levels make me a very convincing advocate. Ultimately, these attributes translate into success in the courtroom.
What's your verdict on reality TV?
I happen to be a fan of reality television, particularly “The Apprentice” and “Amazing Race.” It is fascinating to watch the interplay of different personalities in stressful situations. Prior to doing the show, I always thought I could do better. Now, I realize how difficult it can be to make the right decision.
What, in your opinion, is the biggest misconception people have about lawyers and why is it a misconception?
The biggest misconception about lawyers is that some individuals believe we are dishonest. Yes, lawyers must be zealous advocates for their clients and sometimes take unpopular positions, but to confuse this conduct with dishonesty is absurd. Lawyers must abide by the highest ethical standards of any profession. My hope is that this show will change such misconceptions and show how hard working and dedicated we are to helping people.
