No, his hosting which is scripted and apporved by NBC is not funny. Jay Mohr live in a comedy club is actually very funny. Don't confuse the two.

Yes. I like Jay. The writers for this show are lacking, not Jay.

Maybe as the numbers dwindle we will see longer sets. It must be as frustrating to the comedians as it is to us. They have no time to draw the audience into their style. They cant take time to deliver a joke in a relaxed way. They have to cram many punch lines into two minutes to hook as many humor tastes in the audience as possible.

I don't mind Jay, I just get really annoyed with him on LCS. Other shows/movies/etc...I've always thought he was funny.

For some reason, this show is sorta ruining "him" for me.

I love Jay too. Sure his NBC jokes fail sometimes -- that's part of the charm. I saw him on Leno a few weeks back and I was laughing out loud in bed. He's smart and funny and we all have him to thank for this show. He brought Dave Mordal into our living rooms -- I'll love him forever for that one.

About six months ago I seen Jay on "Conan", and he was hilirious. He did his Walken impression, then he talked about being in Canada and watching the movie, Deniro movie, "Taxi Driver" in french. Then he did a Deniro impression in French, it was awesome.

I was very relieved to see him simply introduce the comics for a change.

And is he gaining a lot of weight? Granted, I'm coming off of four 12 hour shifts so I may be a little fuzzy but I noticed this enough to want to post about it.

When Jay shakes the hand of each comic and seems to be making a comment, does it seem a little uncomfortable to anyone else? Jay London practically pushed him out of his way last night.


I'd love to have a tiny mic on them in that passing moment.
