He, Heffron, and Gulman were defineatly the best LCS has had. From season 1, only Vos, Mordal, and Ralphie come close.

Alonzo last night was easily the funniest IMO.

I love Alonzo.
He always makes me laugh so hard.
I think he should have won season 2 instead of John.
Not to say that John wasn't funny, I just liked Alonzo better.
I know he will still be there next week.

I hope he wears his glasses again and loved how much more intellectual he looked wearing them in the first roast. I really hope he puts in his time on the material and pulls it off just as smoothly as the first time. IMO he can really win this, and I'm rooting for him all the way!

I know I'd love to see more Alonzo fans show up, here and in the voting!

I made my three votes for alonzo on Tuesday. I thought he was the only one who really was very witty during the roast. All of the season 1 comics just weren't good--really surprised by Rich Voss--I thought he'd at least do better. Season 2 comics were better but Todd and Gary had their mean moments, and it just makes me cringe when roasters say really mean things. (Even Triumph the dog should have shut up at times! What's the use of calling someone who's fat, "fat." It's just not funny.) Alonzo was the only one of the six of them who was really witty and only gently critical. Example: when he compared Jay's career progression since Jerry Maguire to Tom Cruise's, saying the Tom makes 25 million a movie and Jay's there with Alonzo. Great--pokes fun but Alonzo puts himself in the boat with Jay--very gentlemanly. He really kicked a*s on the Roast show in season 2 and again in season 3.

Didn't someone on the Roast mention that Alonzo had quit drugs at one point? Implied he used to be addicted and completely isn't now. If that's accurate, then I think it's amazing. He must have been complete in despair if he really was an addict; and now to be so on top of the game--fabulous. Pretty inspirational for anyone who may be under the influence of anything keeping them down--drugs, liquor, depression, whatever. Just great.

I hope Alonzo or Dave win it.

Yeah, he has been candid about his drug use.

And it was Triumph that mentioned that he quit drugs, and said God-willing, he'll quit comedy too.

I recently saw Bringing Down the house, he was in it if you want to see a little more of him, he just seems like such an intelligent nice guy. And he's funny to boot!
