Sorry, but I have felt very strongly about this since the first season. He is just NOT naturally funny (hence all the time he had to spend meditating, rehearsing and re-rehearsing the same 5-minute routine...ech). I saw him on Comedy Central, and he told ALL the same jokes, THEN, he re-told them the other night on LCS.

    ech...
I agree, I've never found him to be funny. His entire set is him complaining about people that make fun of him being Vietnamese, and then he makes fun of his mother for being Vietnamese. What the hell? Just because you can do one impression, that doesn't give you the right to be a hypocritical idiot. Oh, I almost forgot the staple of his act...the fact that his name is Dat. Hilarious. My sides are splitting.

    Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
    Dat is Vietnamese!?
He should work that into his act somehow. That's comedic gold!

    ...

he was funny. the guy just needs to come up with some original shit. the jokes he had were great but when he started repeating it over and over is when it just went to a downward spiral. ralphy does the same shit as dat though(except he does fat jokes and doesn't repeat the same exact joke over and over...). the look of the comedian, whether it be race, age, etc always makes its way into their acts. so i didn't have a problem with him using vietnamese jokes. as for him winning season one, it was a fair shake. he was funnier than ralph and the others. but people dont have the same taste in comedy (as in old generation vs new generation) and of course wont agree. i admire the guy for wooping on the other contestants after how they treated him goes to show karma bites

I think his material is worse this season if that can be possible.

A big hell yeah to that statement . Very well said, Daniel.

I am really rooting for Dat this season too. I just hope he brings on new stuff.

After seeing the show the show live yesterday it is safe to say I like Dat even more

I think either his sense of humour appeals to your or you don't get him at all.

    I find him hysterical.
