    I like Jay, but yes... Alonzo deserves it much more. Even BEFORE the set I know that.

    I won't be angry if Jay wins, because it won't be Jay's fault--it will be America's. It's inconceivable that John Heffron and Gary Gulman are funnier than Alonzo, never mind Jay. But I can already hear the cries of outrage aimed at Jay, as if two other people weren't also involved.

    Again, Alonzo is just plain witty. Great delivery and the best writing by FAR of any comic on this crappy show. No lame "cookie" or "stripper" jokes. His personality sells it, and he comes off as both smart AND angry. A great combo.

    Every single joke worked.
