John was pretty good. Not his best set, but a bunch better than Gary. A LOT better than Gary... I say John could easily coast to the final 3.

    John - boring.
Kathleen - Decent, but a bit one dimensional.

Was it just me or did Kathleen seem a little high? Her jokes were okay, but she is just too monotone. Did you see who they had as her friend? Kathleene Manheim from 'The Practice.'

Kathleen was funny. I liked the practicing writing etc... in case of a stroke joke and the fish joke, too.

Kathleen - Surprising... I honestly don't know what to think about it. She started off slow, but she definitely warmed up and got a lot better. Better than Gary's and John's, in my opinion. She *might* get a spot in the finals, along with John and Alonzo. Maybe.

Mohr missed a good joke, pre-commercial. He should have said "Tammy will take the stage and possibly... tell some jokes about the Mafia or being Sicilian!

    But he didn't.

I laughed out loud at Heffron's comparison of girls in a bar to Marines.
But that was my only real laugh.
Kathleen -- I wanted to laugh a lot. But it seemed to me she had promising jokes that she didn't follow through on well enough.

The monotone is apparently her one and only gimmick. It's her trying to sound wry, sarcastic and above it all.

I thought Gary was the funniest so far. I'm really surprised. I wanted John to be funnier. I was waiting for Kathleen to show what she can do and I wasn't blown away. I guess it's up to Alonzo now. Let's see what he's got....

Oh yeah, I forgot Tammy is still in the wings.....
