what if they ditched jay mohr and had a comedian host the show?
His little acts prior to the head-to-head have been pretty bad.

I second Monty Hoffman and Paul V.

Also show the sets for a longer period of time and stop with the editing controversies. To me editing is the complete opposite of reality television.
american idol 1= The traditional pop star is found
american idol 2= Talent over image
american idol 3= America is on crack

George Huff was the last man standing, good enough for me!

Huff, I think if they knocked off the editing controversies it would put an awful lot of people out of work, although I agree that the show might be more fun if they didn't always "invent" drama. Still, I would venture to say that this is the stuff most (if not ALL) of these "artificial reality' shows are made of.

    To the Jay Mohr detractors:
Yeah, his sets have been priiiittttty lame, and yes, he does seem to have been possessed by the spirit of the zombie that is Christopher Walken...but for me, personally, I would miss Jay Mohr if they gave the show a different host. For one thing, I believe the whole LCS thing was largely (if not entirely) Jay's brainchild, and that in itself makes me somewhat fond of him. But I like him in a "very first Jeff from the very first Lassie series" kind of way.
My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right.

I have been so hoping that Buck Star would show up in the front row of one of the shows. Even though he didn't make it for LCS he could always become a stalker......... he seems to be able to do the legwork!

I suspect Mordal is finished with this fiasco.

I agree with Pikatsso. Though I said I didn't like Mohr's act, he's a staple that I would miss, like Seacrest on AI. Plus he gave props to Jay London.

Funny or not, Mohr's the nameplate and a producer for the show. So no mohr would mean probably no show.
it's a small price to pay, but we'll all get by.
