    Jay is BACK!

I can't believe people were smart enough to vote for Jay! Usually people don't get his jokes and just sit there with blank, stupid looks on their faces. But, either way, I'm SO glad that he's back in the house! Look out Tammy and Kathleen!!

Congrats, Jay! Thanks for working for those who actually like to think about their comedy.

    Pikatsso! Long time no see!

Jay's not my favourite, but I'm very pleased to see him return. The most worthy of the ousted comics.

Yeah, er... but Mitch ripped that off too. It's a technique which has been passed through a LOT of comic's hands, although its not used by that many modern comics.

It's actually kind of an alternative to what someone like Don Rickles does too, where he picks on audience members.

im sorry to the Jay Fans....but ....I was really hoping that Todd Glass would make it into the house cuz i don't really think Jay is all that funny. Whenever he does his sets i kinda cringe and feel very uncomfortable. I usually record Last Comic Standing and have to FFW through his sets (and his sets only) cuz i feel embarrassed!

That's a bit of a generalization. Although the show has indirectly referred to his tough life, it hasn't been explicit or played on it that much. I think people just like him, which is far different from the circumstance with Dat--where pity (or scorn) was the ONLY feeling for many.

He's just a guy with a style that's different from the rest of these people. It's perfectly fine to hate his style, but really Ant is the "Dat" of this year (in terms of his comedic approach) and frankly it didn't work for him.
Jay London has a nice long interview over at heylady.
Except, and pardon me if you have some part in the Heylady site... the interface there kind of sucks. I can't find Jay's interview, or much of anything for that matter.
