No wonder, guess Hollywood does attract aspiring comedians, not to mention the name Jay Leno.

all these are from LA audition (1st stop) which means they have already taken on each other on the day of the callback. Though LA is not their hometown, they all audition there, I suppose Jay Mohr probably told them about LCS II and ask them to come down there to audition.

I suspect the producers/judges know about
Jay London: Jay Mohr pointed that out
Todd Glass: he was the favourite veteran for the auditioning judges, I suspect he is quite well known in the comedian circuit.
Kathleen Madigan: did Jay Leno's show before
Tammy Pescatelli: she was an actress I think
Alonzo Bodden: did Apollo before, probably quite well known.
I have a feeling I saw Bonnie and Corey somwhere before.
Most of these people probably know the executives somewhat.

That is very interesting. I'm sure most of them were invited through agents or whomever to the audition, which is fine by me. It is ironic that the thousands who stood out in the lines make up less than half the house (I'll bet not all 8 of those folks were invited to audition) and the rest were all called in to skip the lines.
