Our Interview with Sean Kent

Insightful as always, Wayner. I had been waiting for this interview for awhile as we did not see him much. Thanks. This opened my eyes to a lot of stuff.

Again, very good interview Wayner! It was good to learn more about him and read another perspective.

It looks like he has his priorities in life set well (i.e. his wife, his health, writing) and is down-to-earth. It seems like he took this experience on LCS as a good one, neither putting it on a pedestal nor bashing it. Rather it appears like he's taking it as everything in life is -- a learning lesson and something to grow with, but not put ahead of important things like family and health.

good interview! My mom has had cancer (maybe the same kind as Sean's) and those treatments are a bitch. So I bet he wasn't making any pals cause he was still feeling pretty stinky.

I hesitate to say this, because it sounds insensitive but... If his health is in such a fragile state, should he have been on the show at all?

I used to work in a cancer hospital in NY and the patients were frequently in very fragile health, frequently even immunosuppressed (those who weren't horny as hell). Either he's got balls, or he's an idiot for risking his health, I'm not sure which.

I think he made a point of saying that he wasn't going to let cancer control his life. Too many people that get sick allow their illness to control and define their lives rather than taking control back for themselves. I commend him for his attitude.

If you’re expecting anyone to do you a favor in Hollywood when they’re the producer of a show and have a totally different agenda than you, then you’re more naïve than I am.

I think the smartest actors and the smartest comedians are the ones that don’t read the reviews, or that do read the reviews but let it roll of like the proverbial water off a duck’s back

I would not say things like that about another comedian because it’s completely unnecessary.

Seems like Sean has his feet very well planted on the ground. Very interesting and eye-opening interview.

Like I said before, he didn't make me laugh during his challenge, but I didn't see his whole set. Sean, the best of luck to you. You are such a trooper and will no doubt, achieve your goals.

Sean, They might need writers for reality shows. According to the Anti-Dat organization, the story was written so Dat would win in the end.
