    I can write and I can perform, but I could never perform my own material.

    If I perform Shakespeare and it's lame, it's his fault for writing the crap. If I performed something that I'd written myself and it bombed, I'd never be able to go onstage again. Plus, I get some stagefright just doing a skit or play; Throw a couple of drunks and hecklers in there and I'd wet myself. Seriously.
