yeah. I remember he would tell a joke twice, once clean and the other time they would have to bleep him out. funny how the audience always seemed to laugh harder the second, bleeped, time it was told

strom thurman, Kate Hepburn and now Buddy Hackett

Thanks for pointing that out Marysafan. Nice quotes from all. Especially from Lang.

That really is sad! I loved him in "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" and I have the DVD. I'll have to watch it this week. Buddy Hackett was an awesome guy and really funny!

I heard this this morning. The first think I thought of was the show. He didn't look sick at all when he was on.

I know Dagwood. I haven't seen him on TV for years, and got such a kick out of seeing him on LCS. Odd to hear of his passing so soon after that episode aired.

He had the humor that all comics wished they had.
He was the true comedian. No need to fill your words with F**k this and F**k that. Of course, besides his comments to Joe Rogan that night.
I loved everything that he was in.
My father looks so much like him and he also has that unique sense of humor.
It was like losing my own Dad!
I will miss him so much.

So many wonderful people have passed away these few weeks.
Audrey and him will certainly be missed.
I will always be standing in ovation for you- Buddy!

How sad to see him go so fast.
Rented his HBO show based on seeing him on LCS. Watched it Monday night, it was funny (and dirty in parts) Used to love seeing him on Carson too.

I thought putting the In Memoriam shot of him at the end of the show last night was really classy.
