    Hi Misake,

This is way off topic, but that's my fault, so I'll respond.

I huge majority of people do vote their party no matter what. However, not all registered voters have a party affiliation. And personally, I've never voted a straight party ticket - and I've voted in every election in the last 23 years.

    I'm old.

That's right! I'm a blameless, bored, Canuck. I've voted in the few elections I've been eligable to vote in and I vote on policy.

Just like I will try to vote impartially on the finale. The only prejudice I have is towards Rich (negative) and if he's really the best, well who knows.

So true. My final two favorites are Ralphie and Dat. I couldn't help but notice Ralphie showing Dat some respect in this ep, perhaps he's not such a bad guy after all.

A lot of people are complaining that Dat keeps useing the same material. He keeps doing the Asian thing. Well from what little we've seen of the other comics they keep doing the same thing too. Tess talks about being sexy fat. Ralphie uses the ghetto. Corey talks about her daughter. Tere says cha cha cha. Rich has his ironing?? I can't even remember Richs act. Dave and Rob seem to be the only ones who wing it. And that didn't seem to work to well for them.
Last night Dat cracked me up throughout his whole routine. Right now I'm leaning more towards him than any of the others but I will still wait til I get to see everyones routine. I just hope Rich lives up to all of his own hype.
I think it's ok for people to base their votes on how much they like the comic off stage. During American Idol I liked both Ruben and Clay so I voted for Ruben just based on the fact that I'm in B'ham. If Dat and Rich both have great acts and I don't know which one I like best I will vote for Dat based on his "niceness".

Totally off topic, but political parties are IMHO the problem with US politics, and the idea of a political party is an oxymoron, as it is not a fun place to be.

In my state the voting registration doesn't even ask for political party (Wa state), and by default they set me us as an absentee voter.
