I'm looking forward to seeing this show. Here's an article I ran across.

The first thing that came to my mind after hearing about this show was New Zealand's "The Tribe". Can't wait to see whos going to be the rebel, power and chaos.

    I don't know...

It has an excellent SciFi bent to it... This has been covered many times in that genre... And StarTrek probably did it the best...

It's worth a look see, I think... And I will disregard the negative aspects of the mommies and daddies after the fact... I think they were well compensated, and knew the risks going in, so....

God forbid that little Pookie, Muffie, and Scottie have to do any real work and get their hands dirty! What sissy parents!!!

I am really excited for this show. I think it could be really interesting and I can't wait to see how they set up there society.
    Will there be taxes?
    Will there by government?
    Will there by church?
Will the kids try and model there new environment after the society they have been exposed to or blaze their own trail....
I hope they make this more of a study of social science then a game show or something like that....

I want to go on this show!
    Should have applied.

    It's seems pretty interesting.
I'll surely check out the first episode to see how it goes.

They're are a lot of kids too and a wide variety of ages and races as well.

I'm pretty sure the older ones will try and take the leader role.
The 15 year old seems like he thinks he'll be the person in charge.

The idea of this is somewhat intriguing, but the reality of it is simply that it will never work. It's a ratings-disaster waiting to happen... because no way is it really going to be free from adult/producer manipulation and that is the one aspect I would find most appealing: are these kids capable of living and forming an acceptable, workable society that is any different and/or better than what they already know?

I just cannot see how this will be entertaining for long - is there a vote-out or some other elimination procedure that will happen each week? Is it survivor-esque in theory or simply a series in which we get to see the progression only of their "society"?

I just don't see it, but I could be totally wrong.
