More like paranoid. It's better with Tim because he's there to have fun and not to question every single aspect of the show. A question that someone needs to ask Ingrid is why go on a reality show if you aren't willing to have fun? If she's like that in real life, then I'm afraid that she will remain single. I like her also, she IS having fun....but in the same sense, she's not going to be a 'sucker' either.
I think viewers are used to laughing at the contestants in reality shows, and especially so in this mock reality show, so they might be disappointed that this girl is too smart for them. She would be "paranoid" if she thought this show was fake when it's not, but since she's right on the money, she's just perceptive to me. Some people really can't help notice all these details. I'm not one of those people. I would probably be too busy laughing my head off and enjoying the free food :lol, but I think Ingrid's great. She's still being a good sport and playing along. It's not like she's throwing hissy fits and threatening to quit. The best part is she is picking out flaws and making the directors step up their game. :up Even if she is kicked off in the next episode, the directors will have learnt something about looking into the little details in the future.
:yeahthat I thought that Jana/Cammy did a terrible job covering up her slip last night and then the whole porn thing did seem really contrived. Once Ingrid's suspicions were aroused at the beginning by the women who said she got on the show because of her agent, it would be hard for her not to notice the slipups. Still, she is going along with it, having fun, and not yelling "fake!"Quote:

No one who is as attuned to pop culture as she appears to be could have missed knowledge of the first Joe Schmo.
There are some shows that simply get a degree of buzz that rises above the din of Temptation Island 4 or Get Me Out Of Here, I'm a Celeb.....
Joe Schmo was one of those shows.
Ingrid is the type of person who has heard a riddle before, but when asked tells you she has not. That way when she provides the answer to it, she gets to feel so very smart, as if she just figured it out when asked.
It's a phony cheap way of stroking one's ego and I feel that she is that very type of person.
Ironically, I don't care, because the show has been a hoot....

There was a piece of me that thought Ingrid was an actor ... and would reveal that WE were the schmoes the whole time. But that wouldn't be a satisfying ending to a show you watched all the way through....

Also, even though this show seems pretty outrageous, "Last Chance for Love" is supposed to be the American version of a British program. I've always been under the impression that shows from other countries are generally more outrageous than U.S. shows. It's possible that this could have played a factor in Ingrid's ability to try and believe in the premise.
