I laughed out loud throughout the show. Especially when the immunity contest did not go the way it was scripted. I just love the idea of this guy spinning his wheels trying to figure out a strategy to stick with as nothing he does will get him evicted.
And the comparison to Dave is very appropriate. I think if Dave was on this show he would fall for it as well hook line and sinker as these guys do not typically make it on reality TV, so any show that they do get on would have to be of a lower caliber.
Ahh, remember a time when reality contestants weren't handpicked by casting agents...
I kind of agree with this... Matt has no reason to suspect that the whole thing is fake. He has noticed some strange things going on but so far he has just been rationalizing everything in different ways... Probably thinking this show was very low budget that the host was the best they could find, thinking some of his fellow contestants are lying as part of a strategy, or that some of them are just incedibly weird...

I feel so bad for Matt, but this show was friggin hilarious!!!!!
I had tears in my eyes, I was laughing so hard. The hands on the hooker was priceless as well as him not recognizing her until her top was off!!!
This show is so bad its good. The reaction of the actors and the production staff when Matt took his hand off her breast was priceless.
" Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust, Gina you are now dead to us."
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl
That's the whole point. So bad its good.
this has to be the worst tv i have ever watched
the host is the worst actor in history
the games on the show are corny
what is with the throwing the plate in the fire?
um, that ain't a mansion
man this show sucks
the black chicks diatribe at the end was the worst acting next to the host
Looking forward to next week!
I was really floored by that too - when he recognized the porn star only after her top came off - and then shouts it out to everyone. Priceless.
This along with his outing of the gay character on the steps was just too funny.
I'm really looking forward to see how much he is willing to rationalize away as things happen. As people stay and go he has to try and make a sensible pattern out of random events that aren't going as planned.
I think why I can see someone buying into this concept is that if anyone ever had reason to question if he was on a fixed show it would be Jee from BB4. I can't watch this show without thinking if Jee ever wondered if he was on a fake reality show after he: a) shows up to find an ex there b) a contestant who is acting way over the top gets removed after a chair throwing incident c) he wins a number of power competitions but nothing goes his way in who he tries to eliminate. I doubt if he ever thought it was fake but if all this could happen in a real reality show, what would it take for you to wonder if the show you were on was staged?
Reality TV premises and contestants on "real" reality shows are now stranger than fiction, so why are we complaining about the phoniness of fiction? I think I'm getting a headache thinking about this.
Bottom line: I think it is a great premise and will have fun watching it.

Did anyone think that the host was going to say, "ashes to ashes, dust to dust, we hpoe you bust your brithches when you burn with us"and then throw the "collectors plate" in the fireplace. This show just has so many inside jokes that I really think it might be too smart for some people. I was laughing out loud and my wife was just absolutely puzzled. Absolutely no idea what I was laughing at. Bring it on Joe Schmo, I am hooked.
It's not bad at all people..... it's freaking hilarious!
It's better than some other "real" reality shows like marry my dad or FLOM2 or some crap like that....
The hooker part was a plus! The premier was fantastic.... I'm hooked too (no pun intended)!
btw if you watched Jim Carey's movie Truman show it's exactly like that of Joe Schmo... sort of weird comparing the two....
I'm sorry, but "Touch The Hooker" was really tasteless imo.
I think the show is bad enough to be bad rather than bad enough to be good personally.
