I am so tired of trying to decipher TV listings these days, it becomes a research project in and of itself.

My Sunday paper TV Guide and the real TV Guide show something different from Zap2It.com and the Spike TV website. BTW, you can check for yourself at www.spiketv.com.

I will post in Central Time since I'm still fairly confused about what the heck is showing when.

If in doubt, set your VCR for 7 pm through 2 am tonight for Spike and you should get the pilot show, lol.

    Sunday, September 7

Pilot Episode Rerun 7-9 PM and 12-2 AM - CST

    Tuesday, September 9

Second episode I believe, TV Guide shows one hour program, Spike TV schedule shows 2 hour time slot and indicates it is Episode 01 which would be the pilot but it should be second episode (?)

    8-10 PM and 10 PM - 12 AM - CST

Don't know if they are combining the pilot and then new episode, or just showing the second episode four times in a row, I guess we will figure it out eventually.

I have three VCRs and Tuesday is going to be a rough one with all the other reality shows on that evening, whew! Thank goodness, cable tends to rerun their shows a few times. So, in that vein the schedule at Spike also shows these times slots for Joe Schmo for:

    Sunday, September 14

    7-9 PM and 12-2 AM - CST

again the website is showing these slots as Episode 01.

Eddiesleg, i think the problem is that the SpikeTV schedule runs from Monday to Sunday. The schedule for the weekly shows is showing you
    Monday september 1 - Sunday September 7.
    Headlines
Iran says it shot down unmanned US spy plane.
Lemonade recalled due to possibleglass fragments in Canada.
Lindsay Lohan to join Celebrity Big Brother.

I'm as confused as anybody about all the showtimes. I do know that we're always going to be re-running episodes on Sunday nights. The air times are funky, because they depend on local cable companies and prime time schedules in various different time zones.

The best I can tell you is to rely on that ubiquitious catch-all phrase: 'Check your local listings.'

I do urge everyone who missed the premiere to watch tonight!

When I read this to the Man In The House here, he agreed whole-heartedly. He REALLY LOVES this show.

Now, while I think Joe is amusing, I don't think it's any "Roots" (the miniseries) or last episode of "Johnny Carson". Or other TV moments that were supposed to be good that I never watched.
"Ashleigh": I just think it's sleazy. It's dirty.

I love this show! I don't know what it is about this show. Partly, the parody competitions. Partly, the straight guy who plays Kip, partly matt's Obliviousness to thw whole thing, I don't know. I just love it!

I was hooked as soon as Matt started chastising himself for not winning the "reward challenge" underwear game. He yells at himself "Come on dude get your head in the game!" IMO absolutely priceless.

I also find Matt very likeable. I've heard that the cast grow to like him so much and he takes the game so seriously (crying after evictions, etc...) later on that they really consider stopping the whole thing. Also taking away any doubts about Matt being "in" on the gag. I think they casted him perfectly and also think he would do fine on BB or Survivor.

This show was created for us the reality junky. Please get past the cheesyness, it's obviously intentional. I wait anxiously for Matt's next perplexed look.

This is someone who really "GETS" it.

Anyone watching this show is on NOW. One hour ahead of schedule.
On at 6 - 8 pm my time instead of 7 - 9 pm. should restart 4 hours from now or 11 pm mountain time.

    Show times in EASTERN

Tuesday at 9pm and 12pm will be the weeks new show, at 10-12 they will reshow the premier.

I have to admit i caught the rerun of the show and laughed my ass off at all the reality show mockeries, you got to love the Lord of the Manor Immunity challenge.

The guy Matt is perfect he is just so clueless and his facial expressions are priceless.

I also think more reality shows should bring on porn stars for challenges.

Whoa! I watched the show last night and I've gotta say I loved it!! I was prepared to think it was a stinker but I do believe I now have a new favorite. I laughed through the whole show and that never happens to me. Kip is hilarious and Matt's expressions are hilarious. Great concept and I admire all the actors. It must be so difficult to play a character for so long a period of time. I can't wait for the next episode and I'm seriously thinking of even missing my favorite, Big Brother, in order to see this show. Does anybody know if they will have a rerun of Tuesdays episode next Sunday so that I won't have to make such a rash decision? I strongly support this show having it's own board.

I'm sure that Spike will reair the episodes fairly often.

I was also surprised how much I loved the show. I loved that they threw in so many cliches. Matt really is the perfect guy for the show. He's really likeable and wants to get along with everyone. I think part of the fun in the show will be wondering if he'll figure it out.
