Evan Marriott's father is Robert H. Marriott, III (aka: "Hank" Marriott). His lineage traces back to Henry B. Marriott of Nash County, North Carolina. Henry B. Marriott was born in 1863.

Henry B. Marriott owned a 'roadhouse' in 1930 in North Carolina, which was run by his son (Robert H. Marriott).

The founder of the Marriott Hotel chain was J. (John) Willard Marriott, son of Hyrum Marriott. Hyrum Marriott was one of the original Utah Pioneers in the LDS church.

There may or may not be a connection between the two Marriott families *before* 1863, but there is no immediate connection between them contemporarily.

Re: Charlotte Marriott (Evan's mother) - she is the manager of the very upscale store, 'Yves Delorme' in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

I don't know, Fox is now saying that "the viewers will be VERY SATISFIED with the ending of this show. Very satisfied." (yep, they said it twice).

I honestly can't think of a single way they can make me very satisfied about this show, unless the women got to torture Evan, the people who came up with the idea, and all got paid big bucks for doing it.

I would be "very satisfied" if Evan and Zora ended up together, and it turns out that all the post-show appearances by Evan where he said he was still single and free and was hitting on all the female interviewers were also a big act ... a red herring. They could reveal that Evan and Zora are engaged and will get married at the castle, and FOX's wedding gift to them is a check for one million dollars.
